Nightight

You have been a beautiful ray of sunshine in my life.
Bring of light to the tucked corners where I tend to hide.
You have made me feel less small, the potion
That makes me grow, and fill the room with the veil
Of rainbow rings and shiny wonderings.
I run to you because there is where it is safest.
I stand with you because it is when I am most brave.
We are flawed together, standing, falling, floating,
In our own interstellar space,
The compartment of just us-
I want to spend it.
Leave me behind, I quietly please, do not do it.
Stay when the world stands still.
Stay and illuminate the parts gone dark.
Stay and be my nightlight.
